Why Base Goku is STRONGER than Super Saiyan.

During Dragon Ball Super when Beerus fought Goku on King Kai's Planet, he mentioned that Goku's Base Form wasn't capable of defeating Freeza. Of course, this led to a huge confusion where some thought his Base Form hadn't surpassed Super Saiyan on Namek. There's a little thing called suppression.
